This cheerful and glowing Estates of Sunnybrook wedding at the Vaughan Estate pulls my heartstrings every time.
Janet and David’s wedding left a very particular and distinct impression, and that was the soft warm glow of sun rays diffused through the frosted glass of a greenhouse, cast over the outlines of our newly-wed.
There’s a saying in filmmaking, “mise en scène”, meaning the right placement of a scene. It’s the fundamental soul that drives my photographs, where the subject and the details of surrounding elements synchronize to create a perfect picture. Well, Janet & David’s wedding certainly had many of these moments, evident from our portrait session at Edwards Garden, to ceremony and reception at the Estates of Sunnybrook.
The verdant Toronto Botanical Garden’s green hosue was flourishing with luscious greens and bright florals, creating a wonderful backdrop for the couple while also providing the perfect diffused light on their skins. The Estates of Sunnybrook also didn’t disappoint with a grand castle-like exterior and an interior with an abundance of french windows and high ceilings. It was an absolute delight to be part of Janet and David’s celebration, and we can’t wait to be back at these lovely locations with more of you lovely couples soon.
