The historical and luxurious charm of Elora Mill made a beautiful backdrop for Marina and Luke’s celebration.
Sitting on a hill overlooking the grand river and Elora gorge, the Elora Mill Hotel and Spa boasts a rustic European flair, while immersed in nature.
Getting ready at the Elora Mill Hotel
The bride got ready in the Solarium Suite of Elora Mill with views of the fall. Her elegant off-the-shoulder lace gown by Valencienne dazzled in a soft silhouette. Her blush-toned florals created a harmonious palette with her bridesmaids.
The groom was dashingly styled in a bespoke cream-toned tweed suit by Surmesur. This texture and color suit is not a common choice and it makes us wonder why we don’t see it more often because it looks so classic and tasteful.
The First Look at the Elora Mill’s Outdoor Chapel
In the garden, a wooden path leads to the rustic Walser building, where the groom awaits his bride under the modern arbor. These are always some of the sweetest moments to capture, the rush of many emotions on that first look, and the bridal party peeking and cheering from afar. The lovely lavenders lining the path of the Riverside Chapel made the scene extra whimsical. This was also a perfect spot for some couple and group portraits.
Wedding Ceremony at the The Foundry Chapel
Inside, the ceremony space was hosted in a historical hall with a beautiful brick wall and fireplace as the backdrop. Forever Wildfield did a breathtaking job with the dreamy floral display, they feel like bulbs of color drizzled in clouds.
Portraits in the Historical Town of Elora
Now as they’re made official, we took a stroll in town for some portraits. Again, the 19th-century historical charm embraced us with its cream brick walls and wooden doors. There was also a lovely bridge overlooking the Elora Mill. Plus, we lucked out with some warm sun after rain not long ago.
Looking impeccable after the ceremony
Wedding Reception at the Grand
NĂ“BL EVENTS made the bride’s dream come true (and more) with the insanely stunning setup. Every detail lived harmoniously with each other – the cream linen, wooden round back chairs, the creamy florals, and lace-detailed charger plates. Our bride couldn’t hide her surprise and amazement.
The evening continued with warmth, vivacious laughter, great food, and dances. We even snuck out to catch some portraits with the glorious sunset over the Elora mill. It could not have been a more perfect day.
