An unexpected gem in Kitchener, ON, the aesthetic of Hacienda Sereda was inspired by “The Road to Santiago de Compostela” in Spain. Located only over an hour from Toronto, Hacienda makes quite a breathtaking wedding venue. Everything about this wedding exudes a tasteful elegance, surrounded by the beautiful environment of this venue.

Getting Ready in the Suites

Our bride got ready in the bridal suite on the second floor. The exposed bricks, textured walls, and a sweet balcony already created a romantic mood for the day. The dress had an elegant mermaid silhouette, covered with soft, delicate lace. It perfectly paired with the stylish surrounding.

In the backyard patio, a beautiful long pool is flanked by strips of groomed pines, and takes the reflection of the Spanish style building. This made effortless backdrops for some get-ready photos for both the groom and bride separately.

The interior Courtyard was decked out with romantic string lights, soft draperies, chandeliers, wooden table settings, and of course – beautiful florals. It easily gives one the feeling of being in a historical European intimate chateau.

First Look at the Patio

Our bride, looking stunning in her gown and bouquet, walks down a romantic outdoor path for the first look with her husband to be. The water, the greeneries, and the creamy bricks, easily created endlessly classy framing for the couple and their bridal party.

Outdoor Wedding Ceremony in the Garden

With the charming back of the building and fountain as backdrop, the bridal party, and eventually the bride and her father, walked down the pine-lined paths to the alter. There were even florals floating in the water bed, as they were pronounced official under the warm sun. Family and friend portraits followed as the sun turns softer. This was also a great opportunity to create some couple portraits in the beautiful garden and on the balcony of this Spanish style building.

Reception in the Courtyard

Before the guests settled in the Courtyard, we grabbed more sweet couple portraits inside the building, taking advantage of the grand artwork on the walls, and of course, another balcony inside.

After the bride’s outfit change for the evening, the crowd celebrated and cheered their re-entrance into the main courtyard hall. The hall glowed by the candles and chandeliers, illuminating the warm exposed bricks and wooden decors. The night continued with speeches, some romantic sparklers outside, and of course – dancing.
