Spring Garden Engagement Shoot at the Royal Botanical Garden

This light and natural Royal Botanical Garden engagement session makes us miss spring more than ever

Canadian winters are long but once warmer weather comes it’s so worth it — we’re lucky to be adorned with beautiful nature and gardens. The Royal Botanical Garden at Burlington is a short 1 hour drive from Toronto and is simply an otherworldly space for engagement photos. There are 3 different styles of gardens and an English style park, for your nature and flower lovers out there, this is going to be a treat.

Elaine and Jason wanted to recreate their favourite type of romantic date here, simply a stroll in the park on a golden spring afternoon. The Royal Botanical Garden gave us endless options: indoor Mediterranean Garden gave softly diffused smooth light, outdoor arboretum and rose garden were setup with fountains, bridges, and reflecting ponds, not to mention all types of vegetation and botanicals to decorate the scene. We had a wonderful time and I can’t wait to come back!
